Windows Mobile

Please carefully read the following installation instructions for the Mobile Exhibition Guide (M.E.G.) for Windows Mobile-based phones before you begin with installation

Requirements:
Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP: Windows PC with Microsoft ActiveSync Software. Windows Vista: PC with “Windows Mobile Device Centre” installed. You can find information about the Device Centre under Windows Help.

Steps for installation:
1. Download the meg.cab file to your PC.

2. Check that there is sufficient memory to run the program on your Pocket PC. Program memory required: between 6 MB and 10 MB.

3. Copy the meg.cab file to your mobile device.

4. Use the Windows Explorer of your mobile device to view the directory in which you copied the meg.cab file.

5. Select the meg.cab file for installation.

6. Follow the installation instructions.

Installation instructions

1. Download the file meg.cab to your PC.

2. Check that your Pocket PC has sufficient memory to execute the program. The required free program memory is between 6 MB and 10 MB.

3. Copy the file meg.cab to your mobile terminal.

4. Change to the directory into which you have copied the file meg.cab using the File Explorer of your mobile terminal.

5. Select the file meg.cab for the installation.

6. Follow the instructions for the installation procedure.

Launching the information software:

• Locate the entry “eInfo Mobile” using the Start menu of your mobile device (entry “Programs”).
• Actuating this program icon will launch the Start menu of the M.E.G. program.
• Once you have carried out this procedure, you can use the mobile information software.
