First manufactured by Barlow Tyrie in 1985, this is outdoor furniture that never goes out of fashion and has remained a best seller, ever since it was introduction, due to its tremendous design and build quality. When relaxing on a Commodore® Steamer Chair, you are transported back to the ‘golden age’ of high-speed, high-style, transatlantic cruising liners. This classic, superbly designed, Steamer Chair was inspired by the elegance and style from its era.

From the 1930’s, these transatlantic journeys guaranteed the decadence of high society, with elegant departures from Southampton to New York, in superb ravishing comfort.

With iconic ships, such as the gorgeous SS Normandie. She entered service in 1935 as the largest and fastest passenger ship afloat; she is still the most powerful steam turbo-electric-propelled passenger ship ever built. To the magnificence of Queen Mary, the British ocean liner that sailed primarily on the North Atlantic Ocean.

Queen Mary sailed on her maiden voyage on 27 May 1936 and captured the Blue Riband in August of that year. Historical events are documented, with the ship carrying the Queen Mother, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Laurel and Hardy, and Winston Churchill (six times). Queen Mary even came with on-board kennels, as Elizabeth Taylor and her French Poodle 'Teeny' were delighted to discover in 1947, and ‘silver-screen’ celebrity status, such as Marlene Dietrich disembarking at New York in 1950. The Comtesse series was decisive at the time because of its design as well as its constructive and ergonomic properties. The Comtesse series was famous from Scandinavia through to the alpine countries and was sold with extreme success. Comtesse was associated with Sieger and vice versa. For example, Swedish customers still always say at spoga that the Comtesse stackable chair was the best chair ever and talk about past times in this connection.

To match the round shape of the back of the chair, "Comtesse cushions" were produced by Sieger and by other suppliers of cushions. Every famous cushion manufacturer supplied cushions in this shape.

The stackable chair particularly distinguished itself from the many rival products at the time, but this also applies nowadays too. With closed leg profiles the chair is incredibly stable compared to many other products found on the market. The perfect ergonomics and the corresponding generous dimensions of the furniture offer perfect seating comfort.

The Comtesse series is without doubt one of the most striking series from the past, which characterised the development of Sieger for a long time. In their heydays, the series comprised of a stool, stackable chair, folding chair, Relax, a lounger on wheels and a 2-seater bench. Of course, also in the trend colours of the days, Bordeaux red, blue and light green. Today, Sieger also offers the colours white and green.

Comtesse is a timeless classic that we still produce after over 30 years, albeit in much lower quantities. But this series still has its fans. In the peak years, up to 220,000 stackable chairs and 100,000 foldable stools were produced every year - with 6-8 week delivery periods in the high season because the capacities didn't suffice.

Minimalist design and flowing shapes - are what distinguish the elements of the LOW COLLECTION, which is formed out of one single sheet of Corian®. Perfectly ergonomically shaped, the sitting and lying modules relieve the spinal column and offer the highest comfort.

A side table as well as cushions in different fabrics and colours offer additional comfort and a great deal of design leeway.

The themes sustainability and resource saving are significant elements of the ZEBRA philosophy. When ZEBRA created the premium product line "greenline by ZEBRA" in 2008, Onyx was the first table model of the new product series. The round tabletop with radial shaped planks made of recycled teak underline the responsible handling of resources: The teak of the tabletop stems from sustainable sources such as old houses or ships and is elaborately processed. Small grooves, branch holes or other traces of use that are consciously retained, tell a story and turn each piece of furniture of the greenline series into a unique specimen with its own visibly fascinating story.

The Garden Shower is one of the most iconic items of the Röshults range. It stands for ultimate relaxation and has drawn a lot of attention to the company since it was launched in 2013. The reasons for the big interest are many. There are not many products like it on the market, it is a quite unique piece with a lot of character. Anyone can rig a nozzle up on the side of the shed and have an outdoor shower. But the mobility, beautiful design and high quality materials makes has shown to be very appealing for those with a wish for an extravagant poolside shower.

Impeccable outdoor relaxation
The Garden Shower by Röshults is a freestanding shower for the poolside, terrace or patio. Anyone can rig a nozzle up on the side of the shed, controlled by the garden hose spigot. The Garden Shower from Röshults takes it one step further, offering a minimalistic yet beautiful design that can be placed anywhere and is easily connected via standard connections.

The shower is designed by the Swedish designer duo Broberg & Ridderstråle, and was created with sophisticated elegance in mind. The structure is made of stainless steel and teak and it has a lovely rain effect from the perforated overlying bar. It follows Röshults design language perfectly with its elegant as well as practical design.
The beauty lives in the simplicity, but although simple it ages with dignity. The baseplate made of teak is associated with longevity. It endures the water while staying beautiful, just like exclusive, high quality material does.

Offering the highest level of comfort and pleasure, it is essential for outdoor relaxation.
