Big hands-on testing event for exhibitors and visitors
Where?
At the outdoor area between Hall 6 and Hall 7 there will be 3 areas of approx. 400 m² each, focusing on various garden themes.
What?
Area 1: Riding mowers and lawn robots
Area 2: Lawn mowers, leaf vacuums and leaf blowers
Area 3: Chainsaws, splitters, chippers, hedge trimmers and trimmers
Benefits?
Visitors can come and try out new products presented at the trade fair. Exhibitors can present their products for hands-on testing.
Test track : outdoor area between halls 6 & 7
Area 1 – Lots of action on the test track - Riding mowers and lawn robots -
Here dealers can complete an obstacle course for riding mowers. The challenge is to drive around the decorative elements as fast as possible and without driving errors, and to turn and park the mowers at predetermined places.
The times will be recorded with a stopwatch and posted on a board.
The track gives trade visitors an opportunity to playfully test a model of their choosing.

Area 2 – The best of the lawn scene - Lawn mowers, leaf vacuums and leaf blowers
Visitors can compare the various lawn mower models in terms of their handling, consumption, quiet operation etc. The mowers are kept under a carport.

Area 3 - Wood: chopping, cutting, stacking - Chainsaws, splitters, chippers, hedge trimmers, trimmers -
The area features artificial grass. This is where wood-handling skills are presented:
- Sawing large logs with chainsaws
- Splitting wood and stacking it in optimal piles
- Proper hedge trimming
- Using chippers to process small limbs and pieces
For safety reasons, the chainsaw demonstrations are to be carried out only in the presence of an employee of the corresponding manufacturer.
Visitors can schedule a time slot at the site.
