Design Gardens

The lecture invites you to explore this year's main theme of spoga+gafa ‘Design Gardens’ - in two respects: on the one hand, it is about forward-looking design concepts for gardens and, on the other, about innovative product design. Based on new products from various exhibitor segments, the focus will be on the following questions: What are the current influences on the design of gardens and outdoor areas and what does this mean for garden tools, outdoor furniture and accessories? How are minimalist or nature-orientated design concepts changing garden design? What new technologies and smart solutions are improving gardening or the barbecue experience? How can gardens be designed more sustainably, maintained in a more environmentally friendly way or watered more efficiently? New developments and trends can be experienced in a practical way.

Whether plant pots, garden loungers, barbecues or lawn mowers - design is a unifying element for new garden products. It gives them an appealing shape, optimises use, increases comfort or contributes to saving resources. It is therefore as diverse as the international exhibitors at spoga+gafa.
