Versatile event programme

This year, the lecture programme of spoga+gafa has a new concept. Individual main thematical focuses will be discussed at different locations of the fair grounds. For example, a new lecture stage in the garden unique Bistro in Hall 10.2 will feature keynote speeches on current furniture and decoration trends as well as on the main theme of the trade fair, Design Gardens, followed by a guided tour. On Boulevard North, the Green Stage will offer a new lecture area with daily changing expert lectures and panel discussions on outdoor design, garden design and retail trends.

The Guided Tours at spoga+gafa also offer a compact and focused experience of industry trends. The daily guided tours provide a curated overview of the latest innovations and new products. After a short keynote speech, experts will guide visitors to selected highlight stands and exhibitors. For example, the trend towards the “green living room” will be highlighted with new products in the outdoor furniture and garden decoration sector. A separate tour is also dedicated to the key theme of Design Gardens, which will present innovative product design for outdoor areas.

In another Guided Tour, blogger Camillo “Don Caruso” Tomanek will focus on the innovative power of the BBQ industry. On the tour, he will present fresh ideas from start-ups and show how industry giants are reinventing themselves. The whole world of barbecuing and cooking can also be experienced live in the Outdoor Kitchen World in Hall 8, where the latest outdoor kitchens will be presented, while BBQ professionals, master butchers and meat sommeliers demonstrate their skills in a show kitchen. The special BBQ for Every Wallet area in Hall 8 proves that barbecuing pleasure does not depend on your wallet, with various types of barbecues and accessories on display, from entry-level to high-end.

As in previous years, the POS Green Solution Islands will be presenting sales-promoting design ideas at spoga+gafa. Garden retailers will find concrete examples and inspiration for sales areas. This time, current products and consumer trends will be staged with design suggestions for spring, summer, fall and winter. Various themed islands take up the design approaches of modern garden worlds. They provide ideas on how products can be staged seasonally. Guided tours of the space will present and deepen these focal points.

The Boulevard of Trends & Ideas at spoga+gafa will also be the place to go for the latest trends and new products from the world of gardening and BBQ. The newly designed special area combines the previous Outdoor Lifestyle trend show and the Boulevard of Ideas. As part of the main theme of Design Gardens, this year's show will demonstrate how versatile products and gardens can be designed: from artistically designed installations and lively community gardens to family and kitchen gardens, green urban oases and inspiring balcony designs.
