spoga+gafa brings together all the trend themes of the international garden sector in one place. In 2023, the world biggest trade fair for garden & BBQ once again offered a varied programme of events dedicated to the most important trends of the coming season. With the focus theme Social Gardens, spoga+gafa 2023 spotlighted gardens as connecting places of encounter and social interaction. Other highlights included numerous events on the topics of sustainable gardening, indoor gardening, garden BBQ and outdoor kitchens as well as the garden for everyone.
Under the key topic Social Gardens, spoga+gafa 2023 was dedicated to gardens as connecting places of encounter and social interaction. A look at the garden trends 2023 shows that themes such as community, health or sustainability have gained new momentum in recent years. Within global megatrends such as urbanisation and neo-ecology, the design of outdoor areas continues to develop. In the private sphere, for example, social gardens stand for relaxed get-togethers or communal barbecues, while in the public sphere, as garden trends such as city gardening, they also promote coming together in (semi-) public spaces.
Trade visitors had the opportunity to experience the highlights of the world's biggest garden & BBQ fair and to be inspired by the latest trends for their business at the exhibition, at the Trend Show, on the Boulevard of Ideas, at the POS Green Solution Island, in the Forum Garden Café, or during Guided Tours and many other programme items.
