Trendshow Outdoor Lifestyle at spoga+gafa
As the world's biggest garden trade fair, spoga+gafa presented the new trends for outdoor living and, for the fourth time now, pioneering design from the garden sector with the Trend Show Outdoor Lifestyle. In 2023, the focus was on trend-setting innovations for the leading theme of social gardens. In the special area in Hall 10.2, pioneering outdoor furniture, unusual garden accessories and innovative products for barbecues and BBQs were presented in four themed displays.
Suburban Garden - Together Outdoors I
For shared moments outdoors with family, neighbours and friends, private living nowadays leaves its traditional boundaries: chairs and tables, armchairs and sofas, barbecue grills, even entire kitchen units move into the garden and invite people to get together. People eat, laugh, talk and relax together. Large gardens and terraces become social places with a high degree of design and function.
City Garden - Together Outdoors II
All over the world, more and more people are moving to cities - and there is a growing desire for gardening and outdoor living. Private outdoor spaces such as balconies or roof terraces are being used for shared outdoor activities with family, neighbours and friends. Practical solutions that take up little space are in demand for the trend of city gardening. Compact furniture and plant pots transform one's own outdoor space into an urban open-air oasis.
Community Garden - Growing Friendships
Community gardening in urban open spaces is gaining more and more followers. Trends like urban gardening, neighbourhood and other social initiatives are bringing people together. Together, people take care of growing fruit and vegetables or sowing plants in the city. Inner courtyards, pavements and urban wastelands are becoming biotopes. Where grey concrete used to dominate, flowers now bloom.
Contract Garden - Green Meetings
Plants and greenery play an important role in offices, hotels and restaurants today. Trends such as Biophilic Design create retreat areas with green room elements. Natural design stands for sustainability and a healthy working environment and is one of the benefits when recruiting new employees. Also outdoor areas of Hotels and restaurants are upgraded with plants and stylish outdoor furniture for relaxed get-togethers.
