About Claudia Kordes
The story begins where Claudia Kordes is blown onto the stage of life in a colourful swirl of leaves on 14 November 1974: In Hamburg.
There, as an eighth grade student, she is already standing in the director's office of the renowned Axel Springer School of Journalism.
The goal: to write as a journalist about her favourite hobby - plants, gardens and greenery, so that the whole world knows about it.
After a short diversions via the Abitur, a fast-track commercial and horticultural apprenticeship, supplemented by an internship at Franko Roses in Auckland, New Zealand, Claudia graduated in "Business Journalism and Corporate Communications" at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. Extensively trained in print, online, radio and TV, Claudia stepped on the gas even more. Her next stations were the corporate communications of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, the renowned motorsport agency Speedpool and the editorial department of AutoBild Motorsport, before she followed the call of TASPO as a freelance journalist in 2012.
Her vocation to tell stories about the green industry, plants and people is what drives her.
