Company portraitFlorida Insect Control Group is the owner of the award-winning revolutionary pest control brand INZECTO.
Co-Invented by Dr. Phil Koehler, Professor Emeritus of Urban Entomology, at the University of Florida and with the initial R&D funded by the Pentagon, the company’s initial goal was to protect deployed warfighters from mosquitoes, flies, and insect-borne diseases.
With its headquarters in Florida, a division in Italy and the heart of the production located in Poland, F.I.C.G. is a “multinational startup” that boasts 3 automated production lines with an output capacity of 20 forty-foot containers per month.
Thanks to this, to the cooperation with world’s top-class universities and prestigious partners, we can deliver the most cutting-edge solutions in the shortest time.
The philosophy behind INZECTO is to develop effective, affordable, and innovative pest control products and systems that protect humans from, annoying insects and insect-borne diseases while respecting the environment and other animals.
With this in mind we have been able to obtain six patents so far and more are on the way.
INZECTO’s flagship products are developed to control mosquitoes in urban and domestic environment.
The INZECTO mosquito system consists of products that will control adult mosquitoes as well as their larvae with no hazard for superior animals or beneficial insects.
The patented insecticide-embedded micro-porous coating used to manufacture our groundbreaking products, protects the active ingredients from early degradation meanwhile allowing their slow release. The micro doses of insecticides will be enough to kill the female mosquitoes laying eggs, the larvae that might still develop.
Designed to protect non-target animals, INZECTO products are engineered to exploit the insect’s behavior and maximize efficacy while keeping environmental impact, cost, and maintenance to the necessary minimum.
